OLGa: Online Learning in Gastroenterology
UEGF is proud to present OLGa: Online Learning in Gastroenterology, the new leader in medical web-based education in Europe.
UEGF OLGa delivers state-of-the-art Gastroenterology related material to Gastroenterology specialists across Europe and beyond. All the benefits of distance learning are exploited by OLGa.
OLGa is up-to-date, accessible 24/7, rich in multimedia, expert led, collaborative, encourages interaction with learners and invites contributions from its followers. You can keep up to date with OLGa with Twitter and Facebook.
UEGF OLGa allows the learner to browse through the resources, as well as searching for interesting material by using a cutting-edge, multi-facetted filtering system with the click of a mouse. OLGa content is hosted in three related domains:
- e-Media – An online web-based multimedia archive (web-casts and podcasts of conference proceedings, audio podcasts, video e.g. endoscopy cases, surgical footage, etc.)
- e-Library – An online library of UEGF/UEGW material (abstracts, posters, documents, guidelines, etc.)
- e-Courses – A platform for training courses developed for the UEGF e-learning portal covering all aspects of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, produced by authors who are experts in their field (due March 2011)
